Description: In this session, participants work with a facilitator in small groups. Each participant presents a short lesson and also offers feedback on the presentations of other participants.
Preparation: Prior to the ALP session, please prepare a 10-minute active learning lesson on an introductory topic to deliver to a group of undergraduate students new to your field. See the ALP assignment below for details.

Location: Check in at Room 211 (on the second floor) in the Gorguze Family Laboratory located at 2609 Draper Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Detailed directions (including parking, bus routes, and driving directions) can be found here. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session start time.
Room Information: All rooms will have overheard projectors and whiteboards with markers. If you wish to use the projector and do not have a HDMI port on your laptop, please bring an adapter.

Restrooms: A gender binary men’s restroom, and a gender inclusive restroom, are located on the first floor. A gender binary women’s restroom, and a lactation room, are located on the second floor. There is also a gender inclusive restroom on the third floor.
Accessibility: There is an accessible entrance is on the west end of the building from the Wave Field, and a ramp entrance on the east end of the building off of Draper Drive (passing under the white cylinder tanks). There is elevator access near the stairs on the north end of the building.
