Description: The term “neurodiverse” acknowledges that individual brains differ, and possess unique strengths and ways of thinking. Instruction must promote all students’ academic and future career success and this is achieved by incorporating and building on diverse strengths. Having neurodiverse groups in the workforce is critical to solving future STEM challenges. Participants in this remote workshop will learn about neurodiversity, strategies for creating classrooms where diverse learners thrive, and approaches for designing digital instructional resources that are accessible to all learners.
