Sakib Elahi

BIOMEDE 458: Bioinstrumentation
Sakib Elahi used the Kolb learning style inventory to teach to the needs of all of his students. Also, he identified areas where students’ familiarity with concepts was thin and created new course content by presenting mini-lectures on topics such as error analysis and technical communications. Sakib set high expectations for student success and used these presentations, interactions with students, and grading rubrics to help students reach these goals. Specifically, Sakib took the lead in revamping grading rubrics so that there was better alignment between assignment goals and student efforts.
