Travis Dantzer

CEE 428: Groundwater Hydrology

Implementing a philosophy of encouraging learning as a way of life, Travis Dantzer strived to ensure that students can apply and augment their conceptual understanding in order to handle the complexities of the course material. For example, Travis introduced automated parameter estimation and sensitivity testing to groundwater hydrology labs and to the final project so that students could implement more time to form and test hypotheses. Travis also understood that his PhD program attracts many students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds and strived not only to help these students academically but also to help these students feel like they belong. Travis has proven to be dedicated, patient, and optimistic in everything he does – from projects to teaching students.
